Watch: Josh, Bo Naylor make unique history on National Siblings Day

Brothers Josh and Bo Naylor had a historic night to remember, helping the Cleveland Guardians come from behind to beat the Chicago White Sox, 7-6, on National Sibling Day, no less.

In the 10th inning of Wednesday's contest against the White Sox, Josh tied the game with a double before younger brother Bo hit a walk-off single two batters later.

As Sarah Langs of MLB.com pointed out, the heroics of the Naylor brothers are an extreme rarity. They're only the third set of brothers to combine for game-tying and game-winning RBI in the ninth inning of a game or later, joining B.J. and Justin Upton (2013) and Cal and Billy Ripken (1988).

The pair's clutch hitting in extras wasn't their only contribution on Wednesday. In the fourth, they both went yard in the same inning for the second time in their careers. They're one of only seven sets of brothers to accomplish the incredible feat since 1900.

Josh and Bo combined to go 4-of-8 from the plate with two home runs, five RBI, three runs scored, two walks and a double.

The opportunity to play at the Major League level together isn't lost on the brothers. Josh made his way to the Guardians in a 2020 trade, while Cleveland selected Bo 29th overall two years earlier in the 2018 MLB Draft before making his debut in 2022.

"I dreamt of it as a kid. I knew it'd come true eventually," Josh said via Bally Sports Cleveland. "God's good, and we're able to play with each other. It's been great so far."
