Detroit Lions Fans Stunned at Toughness of Center Frank Ragnow

The Detroit Lions wanted to establish their culture as being a gritty football team that handles the toughest moments with the most poise.

For Frank Ragnow, his ability to battle through numerous injuries and ailments to still put forth the effort to play on Sunday's is nothing short of remarkable.

Recall, Detroit's former first round draft pick took a hit in January of 2021 to his throat against the Packers, but was still able to finish the game

It was later revealed Ragnow had fractured cartilage in his throat.

While there was not structural damage, Ragnow was required to monitor closely when he could speak for a period of time before healing.

Following a dominating win against the Denver Broncos at Ford Field, a relative of Detroit's gritty center revealed the lengths to which Ragnow will go to play.

"A week and a half after freaking meniscus surgery and he’s playing. Dudes a certified psycho," Jack Ragnow posted on social media.

Supporters were stunned that Ragnow, who has battled a form of turf toe the past couple of seasons, is able to put his body through so much in an effort to suit up.

Each week, Ragnow is putting in several hours of work in the trainers room and away from the facility just to be able to make it through the week.

"Respect, Frank. The City loves your dedication," one supporter wrote.

"He’s so damn important to what we do as well. Appreciate it Frank," another shared.

Here is a sample of the reaction online to Ragnow potentially playing after possibly having surgery two weeks ago.
